NGA Human Resources believes that all businesses must prepare for the future of work. Much of this involves training our leaders of tomorrow.
In the summer of 2016 our Talent Acquisition team in Poland, launched an internship program aimed at attracting millennials into our service center in Katowice, a workplace that boasts a workforce of five generations, sharing the skills and experience we need to provide customer service excellence now and moving forward.
This project in Poland extends the close relationships we already have with universities around the world.
In Granada, Spain, we are recognised as a major employer, recruiting from the international talent pool that flocks to the university city, and in the UK, we have our second generation of apprentices who have already jump started their careers into permentant roles.
This creative project tag line very much mirrors the outcome and not only caught the attention of potential interns, but of the HR industry.
Last week, we were delighted to be awarded second place in the prestigious ‘Internship Organizer of Silesia Region 2016’ award, beating 41 competitors to this accolade!
The award, organized by the Silesian University and the local newspaper Dziennik Zachodni, was accepted at a gala dinner by our Katowice Site Lead, Agnieszka Hetmańczyk. It is now proudly on display in our office.
All those who were offered roles at the end of the program accepted and are now permanent employees!
The feedback was that they said that they found our company, and our approach to employees, to be attractive and they could see the huge opportunities that a long term career with NGA HR could bring to them professionally and personally.
“The NGA summer internship program opened up the way to gain a first work experience, which is so important on the job market. I met a lot of great people with whom I cooperate on daily basis. From the beginning I was involved in duties related to HR administration. I could combine working at NGA HR and studying at the university.
“What matters for me after three months’ summer program? I stayed with NGA HR!” Agata Pszczółkowska, a former NGA HR intern and now permanent employee
It will grow! The NGA HR internship program in now recognized as a great training program for young people in Poland.
As a business, we’re very excited to have such visibility and the opportunity to have access to a very strong talent pool. We are definitely putting our business in a strong position to be competitive in the future and to only extend the HR and payroll services that be deliver to businesses around the world.
Congratulations to all our colleagues, not just in Poland, but involved in the ongoing recruitment and education of the people who make NGA Human Resources the great place to work that it is.
Internships are not restricted by age. We invite anyone looking for a change in career to apply.
