NGA HR Appointed to Board of Workforce Institute Europe

Simon Porter is representing NGA Human Resources on the founding advisory board of The Workforce Institute Europe. The launch of the European chapter comes on the 10th anniversary of the launch of the original Workforce Institute, part of Kronos Incorporated.

Simon, a specialist in digital HR solutions, joins an elite team of thought leaders comprising of:

  • Roland Axten, workforce management expert at Inter-IKEA
  • Bruce Daisley, VP Europe, Twitter
  • Professor Julia Hobsbawm OBE
  • Christian Kromme, futurist and entrepreneur

The Workforce Institute provides research and education on critical workplace issues facing organisations around the globe.

The European extension will look closer at the specific issues and opportunities facing employees and employers in the region as we move further into the future of work. The original thought leadership institute was launched in the US in 2007.

“The future of work and the workplace is much talked about. Whilst the progression of change might not be rapid for all, it is an inevitability for all, and those that recognise and leverage it will be the winners.

“It is, therefore, vital that your organization is ready to continue to provide employees with the support and development they need to be, happy, loyal and high performing, delivered where and when the employee requires it.”  Simon Porter, NGA Human Resources
