Adel Al-Saleh was appointed Group Chief Executive for Northgate Information Solutions (IS) on 1 December 2011, responsible for leading and growing one of the leading global providers of software solutions and technology services for human resources management and for organizations across the public sector.On May 1 2013, Adel also assumed the role of Chief Executive for NGA Human Resources, the largest business within the Northgate Group, in addition to his role as the group Chief Executive.
Prior to joining Northgate Information Solutions, Adel spent five years at IMS Health (2007-2011), a leading technology-based analytics and services company within the healthcare industry. During Adel’s time with IMS Health, he held several senior positions including President of EMEA, senior Vice President Global Pharma Solutions, and President of US.
Prior to IMS, Adel spent 19 years at IBM (1988-2006), where he held several senior positions across the world, including General Manager of Sales and Industries in the Group's European region, General Manager Global Wireless Business, VP of Americas Communications Sector (covering Telecommunications, Utilities, Media and Entertainment industries), and VP EMEA Sales and Services Personal Systems Group.
Adel is a graduate from Boston University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and received his Masters of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
Adel is married with four children and he is based in the UK.
Stuart joined NGA HR in May 2015 in the role of Chief Financial Officer. Stuart has a background in operational and corporate finance having spent 10 years as CFO of private equity backed European Directories (ED).
As CFO he led ED through its original acquisition by 3i and its subsequent sale for €1.8bn to a Macquarie led consortium. In recent years he led the recapitalisation of the company and its acquisition by Triton, a Scandinavian private equity fund.
Prior to ED, he was CFO of NTL (UK), (now Virgin Media), and prior to this, was Finance Director of British Gas, the UK domestic and business energy supply company of Centrica plc.
Mark Squiers is responsible for managing and leading NGA’s HR service delivery across NGA’s 30+ delivery locations, 7 major global service hubs, and regional service delivery teams. Mark joined NGA in February 2014 with more than 15 years’ experience in the business process outsourcing and human resource outsourcing industries.Prior to this role, Mark has held Global Operations executive roles with Exult, IBM, ACS and more recently, Xerox Corporation. Mark's career to date has been intently focused on delivering organization's capabilities consistently, efficiently and with a high level of quality - a key business priority for NGA Human Resources.
Mark is married with two children and is based out of London, UK.
As NGA's Chief Information Officer (CIO), Russell Sheldon is responsible for the strategy, architecture, implementation and management of NGA's technology and platforms globally. Russell joined NGA with more than 17 years experience in Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and shared services having held a number of senior technology and operations leadership positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Exult and Hewitt Associates.
Prior to joining NGA, Russell spent two years leveraging and applying his extensive IT and BPO experience in the newly-developing Legal Outsourcing arena.
Russell holds a BSc (Hons) in IT Business Systems & Technology from the University of Essex.
Johan Bosschaerts was appointed Senior Vice President Product and Offerings Development for NGA in June 2013. He is responsible for ensuring the innovation, development and continuation of our own IP offering and integrate these with those from our strategic partners to create a platform for sustainable growth and drive operational excellence.Having joined NGA in 2006, Johan held various key positions in the company, Country Managing Director, Global Program Director on the company’s largest outsourcing deals and Executive for Enterprise Product Engineering.
Before having joined NGA Johan held key positions in various companies in both product and client program design and delivery functions leading large international teams, especially in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. Johan holds a degree in both Commercial Engineering and Information Technology.
Johan is married with two children and is based in Belgium.
Michael Custers currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Marketing for NGA Human Resources. Michael joined NGA in 2006 as Director of Investor Relations and Communications and subsequently served as VP of Corporate Marketing, VP of Global Alliances and VP of Marketing.Prior to joining NGA, Michael was Director of Marketing at Certipost, a joint venture of Belgacom and The Belgian Post, where he was involved in the introduction of the electronic identity card to 10 million Belgian citizens. Michael started his career with Aditel, an internet startup.
Michael holds Bachelor's degrees in both Journalism and Audiovisual Communications from Thomas More University College. He also holds postgraduate degrees in B2B Marketing and Business Management from EHSAL Management School in Brussels and is an alum of the Strategic Alliances program of Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Michael has studied and worked in Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and the US.
Joe Kenny joined the team in March 2010 as NGA's Vice President of Human Resources (HR) based out of the UK. In this global position he oversees 35 countries and 8,500 employees. Joe joins us with extensive global HR experience both at a strategic and operational level. Most recently, Joe was HR VP for Sabre Holdings and Lastminute.com and prior to this worked for Cisco Systems Ltd, Nortel Networks Ltd and ICL. Joe is a high energy transformational HR professional with a wealth of experience across different technology businesses.
Joe leads our global HR teams to deliver a balanced integrated HR approach, working together to create an employee orientated high performance culture that emphasises empowerment, excellence, productivity and innovation across the globe.
He holds an MA in HRM from the University of Middlesex, London.
Andy joined NGA in November 2015. He has spent over 30 years in the information technology industry and was a senior executive with IBM. For the first 19 years of his career, he led various financial organizations at IBM, including as the CFO for the global Systems and Technology Group (IBM's Hardware business). For the last decade, he was the GM for IBM Storage, Chief Operating Officer for IBM Japan and a member of the board of directors, General Manager for IBM Global Mid-Market (Small and Medium business), and General Manager for IBM's converged Infrastructure platform - PureFlex. During his tenure he led several very successful M&A projects, most notably XIV and Diligent in the Storage business. Mr. Monshaw worked and lived in the US, Japan and Europe. Mr. Monshaw currently serves on the board of Pulse Secure and is also on the boards of several start-ups, and community and not-for-profit organizations.
Marjukka Mäki-Hokkonen has been responsible for managing NGA Human Resources business in the Australia & New Zealand region since 2013. In this region NGA employs nearly 200 staff and services over 600.000 employees, with a strong focus also on local mid-market customers and large local enterprises.
Marjukka originally joined NGA Human Resources in 2003 in London. In 2004 she was appointed as the Managing Director of NGA Human Resources in Finland and in 2007 took the responsibility for managing the whole Nordic region. She subsequently successfully lead the HR Consulting business for UK, Ireland and South Africa, before being asked to relocate to Sydney to take on the responsibility as President of NGA´s business in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining NGA in 2003, Marjukka held senior positions within KPMG Consulting and IBM Global Services, leading large business transformation and systems integration programs for large global enterprises. Born in Finland, Marjukka holds a degree in International Business from Helsinki School of Economics and die European Business School in Germany. She has lived, studied or worked across Italy, Germany, Nordics, US, UK and Australia.
Marjukka is married with two children and is based in Sydney, Australia.
Jonathan joined NGA in 2002 following a career with a number of specialist software and services businesses in the Payroll and HR industry.With over 20 years experience working in the HR sector, in both technology and business process outsourcing, Jonathan has a deep knowledge and understanding of the HR market - particularly in Finance, Retail and the Services industries.
Jonathan has held several key, senior roles within NGA Human Resources and, in 2014, was appointed to the role of President of the UK and Ireland businesses.
Alison has worked for over twenty years as an entrepreneurial business leader & board member to evolve existing businesses, grow new businesses and establish effective go-to-market strategies, across BtoB sectors and BtoC. She has held P&L accountability for revenues up to £1bn and for over 10 years sat on the Board of Microsoft UK & Australia. Companies she has worked for include Microsoft, BSkyB and smartFOCUS.
Alison joined NGA in 2014 as the President of Moorepay, focusing on small and medium businesses within the UK. She has responsibility for the sales, marketing, channel development, operations and product strategy to serve the 1.22m SMBs within the UK.
Alison is a graduate from the University of South Australia and has both a Bachelor & Masters of Education and a Masters of Business Administration.
